Basketball, Crazy Hair, Grant 6 months

A few recent pictures...

Janessa is playing basket ball again this year. It more serious this time so I'm not sure she is enjoying it as much. She is doing great though and we love to watch her play.
Here's crazy hair day for Red Ribbon Week-. We got all done and Tyson came in and said
'you look like a princess'!
Ty has a big imagination. This diaper box kept him entertained all day :)
Grant just turned 6 months. He was 19#6oz. (97%) and 28 inches (70%). We've tried baby food a few times and he thinks it's the worst stuff ever...even juice! He doesn't quite crawl yet but can get anywhere he needs to. Such a sweet boy.

Happy Halloween!

We had such a fun Halloween this year. I usually don't buy the kids' new costumes but I guess they lucked out this year (or I was a little lazy..?). We all had a great time and loved the nice weather!

Visiting Grandma & Grandpa's...
...and Great Grandma & Grandpa's...

...and eating lots and lots of candy!!
Our friends/neighbors had a super fun party, as usual. I forget how fun it is to act like teenagers again :) This year the theme was 80's Prom Night and it was a blast.
The week before Halloween our 'Ladie's group/bunco group' had a witch's dinner at Buddy's. I thought the idea was a little crazy but we had a great time and I'm glad we did it. They are such great friends and I'm so grateful for them.

Oct. Events

October has flown by! Here's a few of the things we've been doing.

Rather than save all of the kids artwork I sometimes just take pictures of them. Tyson drew these for Andrew & I and put them on our bed. I love when kids start to draw people, it is so cute. A few Saturdays ago Andrew had a whole day planned and all he told us was that we were going to find the end of Hitt road. He had delivered a few times in Menan and found some things he wanted the kids to see. We ended up in Rexburg and got to see a bunch of cool things along the way...
This was an elk refuge we passed and we got to hear them bugle.
This was a park we stopped and ate lunch at.

This was a little (very little, because the kids and I were not liking all the snake holes along the path) hike that we went on. Grant just sat there and licked the backpack like a popsicle the whole time :)

Here's Ty a few sundays ago. He kept asking for one of those "things that hang down" like dad's.
Baby is super mobile now. He doesn't actually crawl but he can get where he needs to and doesn't stay on his back for more than a second.

My baby's 10

Hallie turned 10 on Oct. 2. Where has the time gone....10 years!? She had a really fun friend birthday on Friday night, then on Sat. a picnic at the park with family. Hallie is such a fun, sweet girl. She always tries to choose the right and not hurt anyone's feelings. She likes everything perfect, is very tender hearted and super shy. (There is also a sassy, bossy we side we only get to see at home!). Love you babe :) Happy Birthday!!
Arby's gave her this special extra curly fry 'cause they knew it was her b-day ;)

Grant 4 Months and New School Year

Why do pictures turn? I can't figure it out! Here's a little update on baby Grant. He had his 4 month well-check yesterday and he weighs 17lbs. 12 oz.!!! At 4 months! He's is just such a big happy boy. Most of his clothes are size 12 months. He was 95% for weight and 97% for height. He's starting to use his hands more and can roll from stomach to back. He gets tons of attention and is probably a little spoiled :)..... we love him so much.

Aug. 31st was Hallie & Janess'a first day of school. They are having a great year so far and love their teachers.
Hallie 4th grade--
Janessa 2nd grade--
Tyson started his second year of pre-school on Sept. 8th and loves it also.

Boys 'n their toys...

Andrew's latest dirt bike wound-. This was 3 weeks ago today and it looks a little better now, but not completely. I probably shouldn't have posted this picture first... Ty got his new riding gear. Love the squished cheekers.
Trying it all out...in the rain. He couldn't wait!

Even Grant got his first bike outfit from Uncle Doug and Aunt Marcie :)
A couple of funny close up's-
