Fun in the Sun!

We set up a little pool a couple weeks ago and that is all my kids want to to!! They're always a little chicken at the beginning of each summer 'cause they're not use to it so Hallie & Nessa kept taking turns being the life guard. They love High School Musical 2 and they kept playing that they were Gabriella (the life guard). I love their imaginations! I don't think I could keep myself busy for hours on end with such a little pool, but it's so easy for them!
Tyson thought he was tough stuff just holding the hose. He has definantly gotten braver since this picture!-
I couldn't resist putting this picture on. These are Hallie & Janessa's friends Mya and Maele. We don't get to see them very often, but they love it when they come! The sprinkler was under the tramp and they were all sitting on it- this was a few weeks ago when we had that ONE warm week in May. It makes me laugh every time I look at it :)

No Training Wheels!!!!

This weekend Janessa learned to ride her bike without training wheels. We tried a few weeks ago and she was so scared that we couldn't ever get her to try again... until her friend came over who just learned, so of course she couldn't be outdone! She's the type that doesn't like help with anything so she just kept trying and got it pretty quick! She is definantly the coolest 5 year old out there now- or so she thinks :)!

5. What's my favorite kids' show? Seriousely, my kids never watch TV but we don't have cable either. They think I'm mean if I make them watch a movie so Tyson can get a quiet nap.

9. What's the meal cooked most often? Steak and noodles- just ask Nichelle!

11. What's my favorite thing that Andrew does with the kids? Read to them
12. What are the 5 things that make me smile while being a mom? When I check on them after they're asleep, any time they smile, when they're playing nice together, their birthdays, and when they're really looking forward to something-
13. Where do you want to take your kids someday? On a Disney cruise
14. When was the last time Andrew and I went out - without kids? Have we ever done that? Actually probably the last time we went to the temple.
15. One thing you never said you do as a mom? I liked Steph's answer- take them to the store in their pajamas- and I never have!
16. Favorite past time with my kids? Going to a park or going to grandparents.
17. Favorite quality that my mom has? She is never ending with patience and she never judges anyone- everyone is her friend!
18. Advice for new moms? Cherish every minute, your house can wait (actually that advice is for me-I'm trying to be better)
19. What's a scary or heartbreaking moment you've had? I guess it's a good thing I can't really think of one.
20. When was the last time your kids said I love you? When we tucked them in last night.

Curbing

Yea! Andrew finished up our curbing this weekend! My sweet dad has been at our house a lot lately helping with this project. He did his own and it turned out really good plus it's like a quarter the price of having someone else come do it! Now, I'm not sure if the hard part is over or just starting...I have never been a gardner!
-My mom brought donuts the first day we started and Tyson thought the frosting was great but never got to the rest of it- typical kid!

OK, I finally got a hair blog up and goin'! My cousin Holly made an adorable banner and it all came together super cute! Thanks Holly!! End of Pre-School

I just realized I never wrote about Janessa's pre-school program! It was very cute and she did a great job! It was a cowboy theme and she remembered her part perfectly. The lighting was really bad and almost every picture had red-eye, but we got a few cute ones!-

We also went to funland with her class. The kids got to go on rides and have a picnic. They especially loved the horses!

A few days later we went with Hallie's class to the zoo and I forgot my camera! Ugh! We had tons of fun though and got to see alot of neat animals! It was a great time!
