Pre-school Grad., Endurance Race, Volleyball, Boise, Misc.

Today is Memorial Day. We were able to visit all the graves of my great grandparents this morning. I haven't seen them since I was a kid and it was so neat to give our kids this experience. Andrew has the kids at a friends and Grant is asleep so I'm going to attempt to sum up May...

Last weekend we went to Boise to visit grandma & grandpa and go to Addison's ballet...

On Tues. the 24th was Tyson's Pre-school graduation from Red Apple. He was so cute and animated with every song.

On Sat. the 14th Andrew got 2nd place in the Endurance race. He did awesome and we all had fun with it. This is after taking off the helmet and goggles! Yummy

The cheerleaders waiting for the race to start-

Couple misc. pictures... Grant loves to ride the lawnmower with daddy. It always put Tyson to sleep but not Grant!

We were able to go to the zoo last week with Tyson and Hallie's classes. Janessa's class got to go to Bear World the last day of school (Thurs.). It's officially summer vacation! -althought it feels like March :)

Ty being funny at my parents with pillows in his clothes-

Hallie had her last volleyball game on the 7th.-

Andrew & Hallie putting up the volleyball net in the back yard. They even marked the official size court with paint.

That's it for May! Now starts t-ball 4 days a week and tennis clinic the next 3 days. I love summer!

Happy Birthday Grant!

I really can't believe you are already 1! It makes me so sad that the time has gone by so fast. It seems like yesterday we were just trying to get you home from the hospital. It was such a scary start but now you are a healthy big happy boy. You are 23 lbs. 13oz. (65%) and 31.5 inches (95%). You have been walking for a couple weeks but still crawl most of the time. You are a very good eater and sleep great at night with 2 naps during the day. We love you so much and are so grateful you are in our family. We had family over for cake and ice cream that night. I couldn't wait, I thought you would love your cup cake so much but I think we ruined your day with it! You hated your hands dirty and just cried :)

Ice cream, however, made up for the cup cake...

Happy Birthday baby boy!!

SLC Supercross/ Andrew's birthday

We were able to take Tyson to Salt Lake last weekend for supercross. It was a little cold but it was so worth it, he had so much fun.

We ran into a few famous (in the dirt bike world) people. This lady is the inverviewer/reporter for the channel Speed so we stopped her for a picture.

I can't remember who's bike this is...?

This is Andrew Short, one of Andrew's favorite riders. We also ended up sitting right behind Ryan Dungee's parents. There's a picture on my phone I need to post of that... They were real nice and Andrew told them they're son was Tyson's favorite rider. Ty still talks about meeting them :)

The Tues. after was Andrew's birthday. We didn't do a lot because he had mutual that night. He got a new helmet so I don't think he was too disapointed :) Sometimes I can't believe we are already 29...;)

Easter!

We had such a great Easter. I'm so grateful that we live so close to family because that is what makes holidays so fun. Our kids had 4 Easter egg hunts this year...to much candy. Our YW/YM had one for the primary, then our little city had one, then we had one with both sides of my family...here's from Sat. with the Davies side-

(He'll stand, but still not walking...!)

Great Grandma & Grandpa with all the kids-

Easter morning... the kids got a volleyball net, so we're all really excited to play a lot this summer :)-

All ready for church-

Sunday afternoon with the Lords' side...

This is all so fun, but I am even more grateful for the real reason we have Easter. I'm so grateful for our Savior, Jesus Christ. For His example, for his life, and for all that He taught the world. I'm grateful that we will be resurrected as He was, and I'm especially grateful that we have the opportunity to be parents and to raise our children in the gospel.

Misc. April Pics

Most of these pictures we just got off our phones-

This little car is gone....it's bitter sweet, I guess. It was Stevens car before his mission, then Andrew drove it for a couple years keeping it running for him, but we both got diff. cars when he got back so the little thing has just kinda' sat. The kid who bought loves it so that's good. This is Ty with Andrew's helmet on. Just funny, I'm not sure why he wasn't wearing his own.

A couple weeks ago Andrew broke his tooth helping our neighbor break up some cement around a pole he wanted out of the ground. It was a Sunday so he couldn't get it fixed until the next day. He said that's the last time he'll pick up a hammer on a Sun. :)

These are the girl's spring pictures from school...

Baby belly...:)

Hallie & Grant in the rocking chair. They love each other so much.

Didn't even know she took this until now...love those blue eyes & freckles!

G loves to watch the kids play outside. If he'd walk I'd take him out but he hates the grass...

Pillow fight with dad...they never win :)
