Misc. Oct. plus Halloween

October was a busy month! Here's a few fun pictures...
Andrew had Grant riding the little bike one day (while I was gone of course).
Watching tv one Sunday at my parents.
I love it when Andrew gets in a cleaning kick. He is such a perfectionist, which is good and bad depending on what he's doing!
Grant cracks me up with his blanket. He balls it up and uses it as his 'nest', as we call it :)
Hallie and Grant making cookies for FHE. She is so good with him.
During Hallie's piano lessons we usually walk across the street to the school and play on the toys.

Doug and Marcie have the cutest tradition of giving the kids new books for every holiday. Here they are opening their Halloween books.

 Cute brothers enjoying apples together.
On a day I had a bunch of tests Grant was so good to sit and watch Thomas the Train movies. I love how he always lines up his cars to watch too. He is now really into Lightening McQueen and has to watch it every day. His little smirk cracks me up cause he knows I'm taking his picture.
This is the new tree house my uncle and cousin's husband built for the grandkids. So awesome!!
Hallie pulled a tooth out in the car on the way to the mall..:)
We celebrated Lynn's birthday at Chuck-A-Rama.
Grant and Brigham were more than helpful blowing out his candles!
Ty's spider hat he made at school. They have been learning all about spiders and he is having nightmares about them every night. Lovely.
The kids decided to surprise Andrew and rake all the leaves one afternoon. It's surprising how many we have for not having a single tree in our yard.
On of my favorite new pics.
Costume time. A few days before Halloween we had Grant try on Ty's old superman costume and he was not diggin it haha. He would not put it on again to go trick-or-treating. Silly boy.
 A 2 year-old, a karate kid, a gypsy, and a pink skeleton...
Visiting grandma and having pizza before heading out.

Grandma Susy's Birthday

We made a quick trip to Boise for Andrew's mom's 60 birthday, the 28th of October.

They adopted 3 new daschunds that the kids were so excited to finally meet.
Janessa with the overly large sunflower in grandma's garden.

Kenny pulled an airplane in the hangar at the airport for the kids to check out. Tyson did not want to leave. He loved it so much.

We had pizza, pie, and watched a movie for the party :)
We love you grandma.

Park City Oct. 2012

Park City, baby.... my favorite!!
A few years ago my grandma Lords started the tradition of going to Park City with all the girls and I look forward to it every year. We start Friday night by meeting with my grandma's sisters and daughters etc. at Leatherby's in SLC. I'm so dumb. I got a picture of the ice cream but not any of the people there! And I realize now that I didn't get a single one of my mom or grandma the whole weekend. Oh man, that makes me sad. I've got to be better at that.
Also tradition is to paint fingernails and put on tattoo's (don't ask me why) that night in the hotel....

 ...after swimming of course.
My aunt Gwen, cousin Lexi, and Aaron's wife Katie met us for lunch on Saturday in Park City. I wish we saw them all more.
Shopping at the outlets...texting Andrew to see which one he liked better :)
Dinner on the way home at In-and-Out Burger. Yum.
While the girls are away...the boys will play haha. Andrew took the boys camping one last time for the year. It was pretty cold but they had fun. This pic was after they got back and were going out to dinner all cleaned up. Handsomeness!

Hallie's Birthday

Hallie's officially 12! I can't believe it. My baby girl is now in Young Womens. It seems like yesterday that I turned 12 myself. Hallie is such a sweet big sister and daughter. Happy birthday honey, we love you.
This was from her school teacher-
We took her crazy friends to Flips Gymnastics then back to our house for cake and ice cream.

Sept. 2012

September...here's a few highlights from the month.
Andrew and his friend took Hallie and her friend riding one Saturday afternoon. Andrew had his helmet cam on and got a play-by-play of Hallie's fall. She got right back up and kept going. That girl is so determined to do her best at everything she tries.

Tyson lost a total of 5 teeth within about 6 weeks. One the dentist had to pull out in the back but the other 4 were right up front. So cute. I love how he talked after that.
Hallie and Tabrie got chosen to help assist the varsity volleyball players at one of their games. I think they felt pretty cool sitting with the team and joining their huddles. Then at half time Hallie won a seat cushion. Bonus!
Ty and Grant watching Brigham play games on Steph's phone. I love Sunday's. We're so lucky to have family to close.
Steven and Micaela are getting a boy! Due January 17. Can't wait to snuggle little Oliver.
Janessa practicing violin. I love to hear that sound playing in our home :) She is doing so well.
Tyson's teacher let's them draw a picture during story time everyday and I love to see what he comes home with. This is a volcano. We've seen several dragons, rainbows, lots of soccer, him and his friends playing, and the latest was boys passing the sacrament to people sitting on benches. So dang cute.
For my FA100 class I went with my parents and grandparents to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert and BYUI. I loved every minute. The orchestra was amazing and so was the singing.
Janessa got to go have a mini-makeover at the beauty college for her friend's birthday party and I just love the hair-do she came home with. Cute idea for a party.
Kaylin and I went to the Relief Society general broadcast and came home to our husbands rocking out to Guitar Hero. I'm so grateful for our good friends :)
