Christmas 2012

Christmas!! Such a long-awaited holiday that goes by way too fast.
We put up the tree on a beautiful sunny warm day... we didn't really get a bunch of snow until just a few days before Christmas. It would have been weird to not have a white Christmas.

This year our annual Davies Christmas Eve breakfast was at my uncle's church building. It was nice to have all the room and see everyone.

My grandma asked me to be over the nativity this year. Thankfully my mom's primary had some awesome backdrops and costumes we got to borrow. It turned out really cute.
Christmas Eve dinner at my parents'. They let them open 1 present that night.

Hallie and Janessa got new pj's and the boys got slippers.
Christmas morning! Andrew set up the GoPro to take a picture every 5 minutes or so. It was fun to watch the floor get more and more covered. Andrew's parents skyped with us the whole time. It was like they were there!

We then headed to my parents for more fun and breakfast.
Then off to grandma and grandpa Lord's for dinner and another nativity.
 Fun, busy day....

Misc. Oct. plus Halloween

October was a busy month! Here's a few fun pictures...
Andrew had Grant riding the little bike one day (while I was gone of course).
Watching tv one Sunday at my parents.
I love it when Andrew gets in a cleaning kick. He is such a perfectionist, which is good and bad depending on what he's doing!
Grant cracks me up with his blanket. He balls it up and uses it as his 'nest', as we call it :)
Hallie and Grant making cookies for FHE. She is so good with him.
During Hallie's piano lessons we usually walk across the street to the school and play on the toys.

Doug and Marcie have the cutest tradition of giving the kids new books for every holiday. Here they are opening their Halloween books.

 Cute brothers enjoying apples together.
On a day I had a bunch of tests Grant was so good to sit and watch Thomas the Train movies. I love how he always lines up his cars to watch too. He is now really into Lightening McQueen and has to watch it every day. His little smirk cracks me up cause he knows I'm taking his picture.
This is the new tree house my uncle and cousin's husband built for the grandkids. So awesome!!
Hallie pulled a tooth out in the car on the way to the mall..:)
We celebrated Lynn's birthday at Chuck-A-Rama.
Grant and Brigham were more than helpful blowing out his candles!
Ty's spider hat he made at school. They have been learning all about spiders and he is having nightmares about them every night. Lovely.
The kids decided to surprise Andrew and rake all the leaves one afternoon. It's surprising how many we have for not having a single tree in our yard.
On of my favorite new pics.
Costume time. A few days before Halloween we had Grant try on Ty's old superman costume and he was not diggin it haha. He would not put it on again to go trick-or-treating. Silly boy.
 A 2 year-old, a karate kid, a gypsy, and a pink skeleton...
Visiting grandma and having pizza before heading out.

April Catch-Up

We'll start out with some Easter pictures...

 All the Davies side grandkids-
Easter morning before church...my current favorite picture :)
Grant hangin' with grandpa and great grandpa-
The boys enjoyed a late little snow storm we got-
My sweet brother and sis-in-law gave me this bag of fun stuff for school. It had a binder, pens, paper, and other little things that have all been very usefull! I just finished my first introductory class....let the fun begin!
I got out of the shower one morning and Grant had been crying so Tyson got in his crib with him since he couldn't lift him out! I'm not sure I've ever mentioned that these boys are 4 years apart but Ty only weighs 8 pounds more than Grant.
Our neighbors had these baby lambs in their garage. The mama died giving birth so they bottle feed them. So cute.
 Gettin ready for bed...
Andrew had a birthday on the 26th. We had a little party at my parents the Sunday before...
..and made him an extra large cookie the day of. Grant would not stop blowing out the candle so we could sing :)
G at one of Hallie's volleyball games. No, he did not drink all that...
Andrew did an indurance race at Noise Park the end of the month. He did great and had fun.
The kids love going and cheering him on.
