Yeah! I've been wanting these for a long time..... It didn't feel right having a family picture on the wall without Grant in it. -He even gave us lots of smiles :)

Grant 4 Months and New School Year

Why do pictures turn? I can't figure it out! Here's a little update on baby Grant. He had his 4 month well-check yesterday and he weighs 17lbs. 12 oz.!!! At 4 months! He's is just such a big happy boy. Most of his clothes are size 12 months. He was 95% for weight and 97% for height. He's starting to use his hands more and can roll from stomach to back. He gets tons of attention and is probably a little spoiled :)..... we love him so much.

Aug. 31st was Hallie & Janess'a first day of school. They are having a great year so far and love their teachers.
Hallie 4th grade--
Janessa 2nd grade--
Tyson started his second year of pre-school on Sept. 8th and loves it also.

Boys 'n their toys...

Andrew's latest dirt bike wound-. This was 3 weeks ago today and it looks a little better now, but not completely. I probably shouldn't have posted this picture first... Ty got his new riding gear. Love the squished cheekers.
Trying it all out...in the rain. He couldn't wait!

Even Grant got his first bike outfit from Uncle Doug and Aunt Marcie :)
A couple of funny close up's-

Disneyland

My awesome parents (and brothers) took Hallie, Janessa, and Malarie to Disneyland July 25th- 31st. They got to do tonz of fun things and had a great time together. I'm so grateful they got a fun vacation this year. Grandpa was awesome at taking (and texting) lots of pictures! It was so nice to get an update every few hours and see their big smiles. :) I missed them like crazy but thankfully they kept super busy and never got homesick. Grandma & Grandpa are the best!!!

Summer Events...

Seems like we've been so busy lately! Here's a wrap-up of July and the first week of Aug.:
The Blue Angels were in town a few weeks ago. We didn't buy tickets but we went and watched them practice the day before. Way cool. The kids loved it! Hubba Bubba's growing way too fast. He is still super smiley and loves to talk! We love to hear his stories and kiss those cheeks.
Just can't get enough of that belly :)

Tyson got a new toy while his sisters were in Disneyland (that'll be another post soon). We bought this little 50 from some friends, but quickly ordered new plastic and stickers...!
He was so in love with these boots and gloves that he wore them the entire first day and refused to take them off. It is now his 'yokstar' bike and he couldn't be prouder...
Loves the goggles also. I love that smirk! Notice the juice bottle hickie on his upper lip....ha!
He pulled up to me and said 'mom, want a ride?'. -How could I resist?
Hal & Ty being tough-
Ness has been in a talent camp this summer that a neighbor girl put on. They did a little performance for the parents that was adorable.
This pool has been the best thing ever. I knew we would't be able to go swimming much with a baby this summer, so we got a little bigger pool and it has been well used. Here's the cousins over for a picnic last week.
Phew! Another update done! :)

4th & Grant's Blessing

We had a great 4th of July weekend. Our cul-de-sac has a BBQ and fireworks the night before the 4th every year, so we had that Friday night. Saturday we got up early, dressed in sweats (!) and froze at the parade. That afternoon had a BBQ at cousins, then watched the fireworks that night. We didn't want to fight the crowd down at the river this year with a baby, so we drove up the hill a bit and watch from there. Little did we know that half the town had the same idea! It was OK for one year but definitely not the effect of being at the river. Fun day :)
Sunday (the actual 4th) we were able to have Grant blessed. Andrew did a wonderful job and afterwards we had a lunch at the park with family & friends.

Our summer is flying by so fast. A week from Sunday my parents are taking the girls and their cousin to Disneyland for a week. I am not looking forward to it, but they sure are!
