Thanksgiving in Boise

This year we spent Thanksgiving in Boise with the Hufford side. It was such a fun weekend and went by way too fast! Here's a few highlights from our trip.....

We got there on Thurs. and made little turkeys out of cookies for table decorations.

We spent a lot of time playing on this rug with all the fun toys grandma bought. Janessa, Lindsay and Connor put together this floor puzzle.

Grant is only 2 months older than his cousin Josie but he makes her look like a newborn ! They were so cute together. It will be fun to watch them as they get older.

Hot chocolate! I swear we spent half of every day eating...!

The kids all ready for bed. It was fun for a few nights, but I'm so grateful they have their own rooms at home...!

Andrew's mom got tickets months ago for a Polar Express train ride on Saturday. It was such a beautiful snowy day. The train was up in the mountains and took us to the North Pole. It was something we will never forget.

Saturday night we visited Great Grandma Hufford. This was her first time meeting Grant. She looks so good for 88!
Our attempt to get a picture of all the kiddos on Sunday before we had to come home...

The roads were so scary, but thankfully we were able to travel safely. I also had my first black friday shopping experience at 3:30 friday morning with my BFF. Let me just say INSANE! I can't believe people actually do that every year. Also, I got to go to Hobby Lobby for the first time Sat. night. Such a fun store, if only it (and my shopping buddy) were closer :)...
Now time to get ready for Christmas!

Piano Recital & Family Pictures

On Nov. 4th Hallie had her first piano recital. She did such a great job and played her songs perfectly. I have never once had to ask her to practice, she loves to play so much!
My sister-in-law Marcie wanted to take some pictures before the recital and I'm so glad she did! I love them. She got such great ones of the kids it's hard to pick a favorite!

Thank you Marcie!

Basketball, Crazy Hair, Grant 6 months

A few recent pictures...

Janessa is playing basket ball again this year. It more serious this time so I'm not sure she is enjoying it as much. She is doing great though and we love to watch her play.
Here's crazy hair day for Red Ribbon Week-. We got all done and Tyson came in and said
'you look like a princess'!
Ty has a big imagination. This diaper box kept him entertained all day :)
Grant just turned 6 months. He was 19#6oz. (97%) and 28 inches (70%). We've tried baby food a few times and he thinks it's the worst stuff ever...even juice! He doesn't quite crawl yet but can get anywhere he needs to. Such a sweet boy.

Happy Halloween!

We had such a fun Halloween this year. I usually don't buy the kids' new costumes but I guess they lucked out this year (or I was a little lazy..?). We all had a great time and loved the nice weather!

Visiting Grandma & Grandpa's...
...and Great Grandma & Grandpa's...

...and eating lots and lots of candy!!
Our friends/neighbors had a super fun party, as usual. I forget how fun it is to act like teenagers again :) This year the theme was 80's Prom Night and it was a blast.
The week before Halloween our 'Ladie's group/bunco group' had a witch's dinner at Buddy's. I thought the idea was a little crazy but we had a great time and I'm glad we did it. They are such great friends and I'm so grateful for them.
