Noise Park Race

Saturday was a day full of dirt and fun. Andrew raced in 2 different classes and did really well. In his 2nd class he got the hole shot and held 1st place right up until the last lap when the bike stalled in the corner, but still ended up in 2nd overall. He raced one class with his bike (#317) and one with his friend's new bike (#368) and did really well with his friends', so now he thinks he needs a new bike....I'm sure it was just a coincidence, right?
(It wasn't! -Andrew)

I can't believe how much Ty looks like Andrew's baby pictures here-

Moto & Fred entertained the kids in between races-

The cheerleaders- I'm surprised they still had their voices by the end of the day :)

Hallie's back flip

Maybe I thinks it's cool just because I've never even come close to being able to do one...!

Dance, cousins, and human elastic..

Every year we have a couple teenagers that have a little dance class for all the 3-7 year-olds in our neighborhood. Janessa had a fun time with it and did a great job at the end performance yesterday. They did a butterfly dance and a cowboy dance-
Hallie & grandma waiting for the dancers to begin-Last week we drove to Provo for the day to visit cousins that were visiting from Pittsburgh, Indiana, and Vermont. We have not all been together in a long time!
All of the great-grandkids together-
This video is from our family reunion a few weeks ago, but it is so funny I had to put it on. This is Andrew, my cousins' husbands Landon and Jordan, and my sister's 'friend' Justin. They were mean and partnered up Jordan and Justin that had never done it before-!

Camping at Lava Hot Springs

A few weeks ago we camped at Lava with Andrew's parents. It is such a beautiful place. We all had a great time.
Roasting marshmallows-This river ran through the campground. There were a lot of people floating it, we want to try it next time. We went to the pool instead, which was a lot of fun too-Hallie and her little stunt devil-
We went to Soda Springs Sat. morning. Andrew lived there when he was little so we saw the house they use to live in and some other sites around the city. This bridge was in a park so we got a quick family picture-We also went to the geyser in Soda. The kids thought this was awesome. They walked on a boardwalk all around it and got sprayed-
Probably our only camping trip this year, summer is flying by so fast!

4th & more...

I feel like I have a lot to catch up on! We've had a busy and fun summer, here's a few of the highlights I had pictures of-

First of all, Grandpa pulled Janessa's other top tooth. Now she talks funny but thinks it's pretty cool.
Second, we had a great 4th of July this year. It was the Davies family reunion all in one. We went to Green Canyon, Big Judds, parade, BBQ, fireworks, etc. Always one of my favorite holidays...
Third, Moto is keeping us all busy. I thought this picture was so funny. He looks like a little rat when he gets out of the bath.
Fourth, Hallie, Janessa, and Tyson & I (mommy & me class) are all doing swimming lessons this week and next. Fun, but not every day fun ;)

Fifth, my brother Steven sent this picture from his mission in Brazil. I can't believe he'll be home in 4 months!! He is now Zone Leader and doing awesome. We're so proud of him.

Sixth, tonight we had our Ladies group 80's night. Let's just say that my sister and I ROCKED THE HOUSE and took home great prizes! We have so much fun each month getting together. Hopefully nobody minds that their picture is on here ( I don't know why they would, we all look so hot :)

Our new 'addition'

Hallie has begged (andbegged, and begged...) for years for a puppy.... and I finally gave in. Why? I don't know. I really don't like animals, but I do love Hallie (and grandma paid half, thanks mom)! So, here's Moto. It's been 5 days and so far he's been pretty good and VERY spoiled :)Speaking of spoiled... Tyson was driving the Barbie jeep (FYI it is getting a spray-paint camo job next summer) when the battery died. Andrew couldn't stand to see his only son suffering so he got the little dirtbike and a tow strap and starting pulling him around the backyard.

Help!!

I'm starting to get frustrated potty training this little stinker!! Is it really possible?! He wore unders every day last week, and actually went on the potty TWICE. We even took it outside... sorry just had to vent... we'll keep truckin'!
On a good note, we got the beadboard painted this weekend and I love it! Andrew did a great job and it really brightens that area.
Next is finishing Tyson's room. I want to paint the shelf and everything below it, I just can't decide what color. His bedding is tan, with light blue sheets. Any suggestions? I'm thinking navy... Andrew had to test how strong it was. He starting yelling like he was hurt, so I go running in there to see this. Of course I had to beg him to stay for a picture :)
