March Pics

I forget how much we do in a month until we get all the pictures off the camera and phones!
Andrew was able to coach Tyson's indoor soccer team this year. We got a bunch of friends and put together a U6 team, well not enough U6 teams signed up so they combined us with the U8 league...they got it handed to them! -but still did a great job and had fun. He says this is his favorite sport so we're going to try to find an outdoor league this fall...
At the beginning of the month everyone had their turn with the stomach flu. Ty stayed home from school and Grant was by his side the whole day, it was so cute :)
This is Ty's lego transformer he made. It took a while even with help from sisters, but he was so proud.
My friend and I got away somehow with a trip to the mall with Hallie & Tabrie. They thought they were so funny looking at Prom dresses :) Not for a few more years, thankfully....!
Hallie had a piano recital on the 9th and also participated in a festival on the 2th. She did awesome at both.
Ty loves the bumblebee transformer so he gets so excited when he sees it at church :)
The kids had spring break last week and we took them to the new iJump which is a huge indoor trampoline park. They loved it!

Grant...almost made it! Funny baby, he is so independent.
Hallie is in the middle of volleyball season right now. She is having a lot of fun with it. This is definitely her love!
March 'mustache month' at UPS...at least for Andrew and a few of his friends. Creepy I know! So glad it's gone now...

January and February

I think it will be easiest to update each person separately this time...

Andrew: Jan. 31st he had several procedures done on his sinuses. He couldn't bend over or lift more than 20 lbs. for 3 weeks.. He did awesome and recovered quickly. The time he was home went by way too fast. Today is his first day back to work and hopefully he's being careful :)
I though this was cute. I came home and he was brushing Janessa's hair for her. You can tell he still doesn't feel great this day.
Back to normal. The hardest thing for him was not being able to pick up Grant. It broke both their hearts.

Me:  Besides everything family related, I've been in a tennis clinic this winter and am excited to play in leagues this summer. Also, I just got in to the online Medical Assisting program at BYUI this fall. I'm super exicted but also nervous and hope that I'm not too old/dumb :) My hope is to be able to do medical coding from home when I'm done.

Hallie: The beginning of January Hallie had her D.A.R.E. grauation. There was one boy and one girl chosen from each class to read their essays. She did a great job. The whole program was really neat.

She saved her money to buy new headphones. She loves listening to music.
Gymnastics...here she's doing a front flip over the mat.
Last Sunday she helped Andrew make salsa, her favorite snack. Hallie is also practicing volleyball and will have games starting in a few weeks.
Janessa:  Monday Janessa turned 9, wow!  We combined her's and Tyson's parties at the gym again this year. There were over 30 kids and thankfully no one got hurt.
This was a text she sent me from the spare phone. Aaah, she's so sweet.
Last weekend we celebrated at Garcia' with friends.
Sunday we celebrate both birthdays at Grandma and Grandpa's.
Tyson: Ty lost his first tooth! It was so funny. He didn't even know it was loose until about an hour before he let Aunt Marcie pull it out. Silly boy, now's he trying to make them all loose.

Tyson at the birthday party with some of his friends. He will be 6 this coming Friday the 24th!
Grant: This little suit was a hand-me-down from a friend. He was so adorable but would not leave the tie on.
This cracks me up. Chloe wants to play babies and Grant's like... I'll just sit in here :)
G and his favorite blankie. He always wants wrapped up in it but then can't hardly walk.
Andrew edited this cute picture on his phone. Grant LOVES his boots and pretty much wears them all day long :)
His also new favorite thing is to drink the milk left from cereal. I've never figured out why kids (and Andrew) do this.
A few group shots:   Janessa chose waffles for dinner on her birthday so Hallie got creative and made everyone their favorite color!
The kids have had these DSi's for awhile but just figured out how to all play against each other at the same time. Atleast they're getting along, right?
Hal and Ness had their first cheer competition a couple weeks ago and they did great. They have 2 more coming up soon.
Do you think Steven and Micaela are loved? Yep :)

December

Wow, I can't believe I'm summing up such a busy month with so few pictures...

First off, here's a few of Grant with 'long hair'. We normally keep the boys' hair pretty short but it was cute for a few days :) The second picture he decided to rub his dinner in it... not sure why... he had never done that before and has never since, thankfully. He must have been full and thought he'd do a little art :)

We got a big snowfall the middle of the month and the boys loved watching the tractor clear the cul-de-sac.
We put a bid in on a trailer that was a repo at our credit union in Nov. and found out the week before Christmas that we got it! We've been looking for a little while but didn't ever think we'd get this good of a deal. Andrew and the 3 older kids slept in it one night to try it out and they all loved it. I think it will be good for our family to get away and spend time together next summer.

A couple weeks before Christmas this little elf we named 'Reggie' appeared on our doorstep. We had so much fun with him throughout the Christmas season.
We had Christmas Eve breakfast at Schwieder's. The kids put on a cute nativity for us and grandpa played his harmonica. I wish we all got together more often.
Christmas Eve night we had dinner at my parents and then drove around looking at Christmas lights-

My parents surprised the kids and had a new air hockey table set up downstairs. That makes a pool table, ping-pong, foosball, and air-hockey now. Lucky kids have their own game room at grandma & grandpa's!
Christmas morning...trying to get dad out of bed!!

I plugged in the camera batteries to charge and then forgot to take them out for the rest of the day's pictures! It was so nice to have Christmas on Sunday. I loved that we set everything aside and went to celebrate the real meaning of the holiday before opening presents. Later we got to skype with Andrew's parents, then went to my parents and grandparents. I think I like Christmas season better than the actual day. The day goes by too fast, but we had a good one :)
Andrew's parents came for New Year's weekend and we had a lot of fun staying up and celebrating with them. We played games, ate way too much and watched Kung Fu Panda 2.
