It's a New Year!

This is one super duper excited boy on his way to his first soccer game... Tyson is on his 3rd of 6 weeks of soccer. We got together a bunch of friends and neighbors and they are having a blast. My awesome brother, Steven, and his girlfriend Micaela are their coaches and they are so cute with the kids. Andrew gave Ty these wrist bands and he thinks they are the best things ever. He'll run a lot, then stop and wipe his forehead while saying 'whooo'! It has been a great experience and I'm sure he'll play a lot more as he gets older.
I thought this was so cute. Ness fell asleep on the coach the other day so I had to sneak a picture :)
A couple weekends ago we talked Andrew into hanging the street signs in the basement. We've slowly over the years been stealing signs when we see one we like....jk. Andrew's dad works for the state transportation dept. and when we were in Boise for Thanksgiving he had some at their house that he was using for different things so we (I) begged to go get some. We have about 14 up around the room and it makes such a big difference down there. They light up with any indirect light or flash.

Mr. G got his first taste of Oreo the other night, thanks to his dad. He loved it of course.

Christmas 2010

We had such a great Christmas this year. I love having little kids to bring so much excitement to the holidays. The day came way too fast and was over way too fast, but we enjoyed every minute. Here's the sleepy eyes bright and early.... Santa brought Hallie a new bike...
Janessa Zuzu pets and accessories...

Tyson a MobiGo...
and Grant a carseat! We have a forward facing one but he outgrew his carrier at 7 months so we had to get one that was rear facing...silly BIG boy.

We opened presents at home then headed to grandma & grandpa's for breakfast....
Here's Marcie, Ness, and Doug-
Hallie, Grandma, and Gramsy-
Grant with his '1st Christmas' bib-
Grandpa-
Andrew got his first pair of Jordan's. He always wanted a pair when he was younger and (lucky for him) Steven drew his name this year!
Lynn was in tears with his new bluetooth set-
Andrew got a group shot from the kitchen, I love this picture-
Hallie & Janessa got the DSI XL's that they wanted, but weren't expecting, so that was a lot of fun to watch. We were all very spoiled :) I'm so grateful for my family. I love them all so much and I'm so glad we all live so close.
That evening we went to Grandma & Grandpa Lords. Here's my grandpa reading the Christmas story out of the Bible....he is such an amazing guy. I really look up to him.
T-dog with his new guitar-
Grant got his first pickle and it kept him busy for a good half hour! Andrew's parents came a few days after Christmas for literally 2 hours then went back home to Boise. It was fun to see them for a short while though. They brought Jasmin& Jim's WII for the kids. It has been the funnest thing ever. They love it and play it ALL the time :)

Pre-Christmas

December ...up until Christmas Eve morning...

We put up the tree the Sat. after Thanksgiving downstairs this year because..... ...yes, we love him dearly but he loves to eat wrapping paper :)
Tyson's pre-school had a little program on the 11th. He was so cute and loved every minute. He was just getting over strep so he looked pretty beat up, but still all smiles.
We were cracking up 'cause he kept singing to the boy next to him...!

Janessa also had a program with all the 2nd graders. They had the cutest songs and lots of props and dancing. She looks a little nervous but really enjoyed doing it.

This morning we had our annual Christmas Eve breakfast at my grandparents. The kids put on a nativity. Ty was Joseph, Malarie was Mary...

...Hallie was the star, and Janessa an angel.
Grandpa plays his harmonica while we all sing songs.

Janessa was cuddling with Grant in the chair and Grandma came and kissed him. I love this picture.

Here's a few other misc. pictures all from this morning...
An all-to-often look from Ty-
I love that I can get 2 baths done at once now. Makes my mornings a little easier and they love it!

Cut bum/feet picture. Couldn't resist.

Mr. Smiley. Seriously, I think he smiles more than not.
Tyson wanted to take a picture of us :)

I can't believe Christmas is here already. I think I like looking forward to Christmas more than the actual day. Poor Andrew, this is not his favorite holiday. He's working like 60-70 hours a week just trying to get everyone their packages in time, and to top it all off he's had a nasty cold. Last day!
Merry Christmas!!

Thanksgiving in Boise

This year we spent Thanksgiving in Boise with the Hufford side. It was such a fun weekend and went by way too fast! Here's a few highlights from our trip.....

We got there on Thurs. and made little turkeys out of cookies for table decorations.

We spent a lot of time playing on this rug with all the fun toys grandma bought. Janessa, Lindsay and Connor put together this floor puzzle.

Grant is only 2 months older than his cousin Josie but he makes her look like a newborn ! They were so cute together. It will be fun to watch them as they get older.

Hot chocolate! I swear we spent half of every day eating...!

The kids all ready for bed. It was fun for a few nights, but I'm so grateful they have their own rooms at home...!

Andrew's mom got tickets months ago for a Polar Express train ride on Saturday. It was such a beautiful snowy day. The train was up in the mountains and took us to the North Pole. It was something we will never forget.

Saturday night we visited Great Grandma Hufford. This was her first time meeting Grant. She looks so good for 88!
Our attempt to get a picture of all the kiddos on Sunday before we had to come home...

The roads were so scary, but thankfully we were able to travel safely. I also had my first black friday shopping experience at 3:30 friday morning with my BFF. Let me just say INSANE! I can't believe people actually do that every year. Also, I got to go to Hobby Lobby for the first time Sat. night. Such a fun store, if only it (and my shopping buddy) were closer :)...
Now time to get ready for Christmas!
